To live and eat in NYC

It took us 13 hours (and 13 years) to move to New York City. Apartment hunting hell and job hunting during recession was part of the deal of moving to the greatest city in the world. The challenges are worth every amazing experience we’ve had here. There’s always something to do. There’s never enough time. Roaming around the streets here is pure joy. This is our personal NYC story.

Fresh from '88

On the walls of the 86th and Broadway subway stop are these great high school student murals from 1988 with images of back in the day on the west side. We thought these murals were new considering how great and clean they are. We especially liked this one of teenagers posing in their best b-boy stance complete with, oh yes, acid wash jeans and gold chains over the shirt!
