It took us 13 hours (and 13 years) to move to New York City. Apartment hunting hell and job hunting during recession was part of the deal of moving to the greatest city in the world. The challenges are worth every amazing experience we’ve had here. There’s always something to do. There’s never enough time. Roaming around the streets here is pure joy. This is our personal NYC story.

Guinness at Iona
Where can you find possibly the best Guinness in town? At Iona (Grand Street, Williamsburg Brooklyn). Thanks Tony for sharing the secret. Even better that you're friends with all the bartenders.
It's best to avoid "the shit show" as Tony would call it by avoiding Williamsburg on Friday and Saturday nights. All of us are too old for that crap. We liked sitting at the bar of this Scottish and Irish joint when it was mellow and we were able to slowly enjoy the Guinness masterpiece. We didn't mind the DJ playing reggae that night either.
