It took us 13 hours (and 13 years) to move to New York City. Apartment hunting hell and job hunting during recession was part of the deal of moving to the greatest city in the world. The challenges are worth every amazing experience we’ve had here. There’s always something to do. There’s never enough time. Roaming around the streets here is pure joy. This is our personal NYC story.

Roy Ayers at Blue Note
Last night we went to see Roy Ayers at Blue Note. He and everyone in his band gave a spectacular performance; we enjoyed it so much that we stayed for two sets (we were there from 8 pm til almost midnight). We were also able to take some photos with him and have him sign a CD. Actress Jackee Harry (remember the 1980s sitcom 227?) was sitting behind us enjoying the music as well.
