To live and eat in NYC

It took us 13 hours (and 13 years) to move to New York City. Apartment hunting hell and job hunting during recession was part of the deal of moving to the greatest city in the world. The challenges are worth every amazing experience we’ve had here. There’s always something to do. There’s never enough time. Roaming around the streets here is pure joy. This is our personal NYC story.

The Dark Poet

Edgar Allen Poe's most remembered for his dark, cryptic, mysterious, strange and fantastic gothic tales. Nothing cryptic or dark about this upper west side location where he's remembered.

Oddly, one block west was the Edgar Allen Poe cafe which claimed he also once resided in that location. We were a bit disappointed to see just this plaque on some modern building.
