Midwood, Brooklyn

Midwood, Brooklyn is a heavily Jewish neighborhood and it's clearly apparent as soon as you get off the subway. Avenue J alone is filled with Kosher restaurants, delis, and bakeries.

Kosher fast food at Kosher Delight. Interesting menu that includes burgers, their interpretation of Chinese food, and a Shabbos menu.

This is as close to a chain store as you'll get on this strip.

You step into Isaac's Bakery and it's hard to decide what to buy because of its large and tempting selections. It's also located right across from Di Fara Pizza (next post).

Fun fact about Midwood - Woody Allen grew up there.
